Sometimes I wonder who’s serving Who?

Meet Mr. Feenie, I swear sometimes Mr. Feenie identifies himself as a human. He is a rather large orange and white tabby with a lot of attitude. “Get a cat they said”!, Admittingly I thought my family was crazy adding more responsibility on my shoulders. I can barely handle my own responsibilities.

In the beginning I cursed this tiny orange and white ball of fur. Every morning his fierce little claws would quickly use my skin as a stair case to my shoulder. I can’t tell you how many times I was rudely awoken with one swipe of his paw poking me not so gently in the eye. Let’s not forget the loud siren from a tiny little mouth, waking me up all hours of the night because his tubby little tummy was empty. Every piece of furniture became his personal scratch pad. Constantly climbing on countertops and table, swiping items to the floor and waiting for your reaction. Don’t even think of leaving grocery’s on the floor, just like a Canine he always sniffed out the fresh pack of meat. At times the whole room was his personal Gym. Scurrying from one place to the next knocking over anything he can. How was this cat still living?

Suddenly he started behaving rather odd. Every time I try to use my laptop he plunks his full size body over the key pad. He started only drinking water from a cup that’s on the table. When company arrives, Mr. Feenie will happily great them at the door. If he’s not sleeping, he is following us in every room and choosing a designated spot so he can keep a watchful eye. If your making too much noise he alerts you with a sound of distress, will walking in circles. When were enjoying the hot sun outside, Mr. Feenie is waiting to be put on the leash so he can join us. He occasionally helps himself to your plate of food. One tap on your bed and he hops up ready to nap with you. It’s hard to play any game with out the excited interruption of Mr. Feenie joining in. I swear he thinks he’s human.

Now I can’t imagine life without my big guy.
